Proper Boost Installation on OSX

I am a physics grad student and I am learning to write simple programs which model physical systems. I have been doing my programming using emacs from the OSX terminal.
Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers
Where do I put them? I'm using a MHz iMac and Thanks in advance.
Viro Registered. You can put them anywhere. The library files. In order to get the compiler to look into those directories when compiling, you need to specify them. Any editor works. We aim to establish "existing practice" and provide reference implementations so that Boost libraries are suitable for eventual standardization.
