Just installed the OS a few days ago and have had the sound issue since installing. Other than that ttere are 3! Identify the monitors. I have purchased a optical audio cable to hook up my 15" mbp to my LCD. Note: This will turn off sound from the speakers or normal audio output on the laptop. I haven't tried it through my Xbox. Is there any other suggestions you might have? Will the older computers have the ability to shove video down the HDMI cable? Is there a adapter to the HDMI cable that fits into the older computers. Video transfers fine, but there is no option to switch audio output.
