Cameron cam Unfortunately, I believe that that only works on a windows PC. As ZIP disks haven't been used on macs since the late '90's. So you would either need a pc to use it or an old mac with a ZIP drive. Or if a friend of yours has a pc or an old pc that you can use, that works too.

I did mention that it worked on older macs. I said that this zip drive only works on windows pc and older macs have zip drives.
I still have one kicking around but haven't used it in years. I'll see if I can dust it off this weekend. Iomega never offered anything newer than So the version the OP has will be a factor on which can connect to the system. This mac is newer and probably running either sierra or el cap.
If the OP tried hooking it up and it didn't work, it won't as the software is too new. Its best to find out then work it out from there. Show 1 more comment.

Old USB ZIP drive ok with macOS/High Sierra?
Yes No. The application's splash screen hints that it may also work with Bernoulli boxes. This disk has already been "touched" by the original floppy install disk, which makes it a purely Macintosh disk now. I no longer have the floppy install disk, but it is not required: the above Zip Tools disk is sufficient to do a complete install.
According to the manual at the time of release Probably needs checking that all is OK. For floppy imaging on your Win 95 lappy, RaWrite2. WinImage is another trialware.
